Taste

Value

  • Soup is boiled with pork bones giving it a milky texture
  • Soup is unseasoned but salted fermented shrimp and a housemade sauce is provided for you to adapt it to your taste
  • Generous amount of pork and chives added to the soup
  • A bowl of rice is served separately but do add it directly to the gukbap for an authentic experience

Dakgalbi Set (SGD 20)

Taste

Value

  • Generous amount of well marinated chicken
  • Dish was not spicy
  • Unfortunately, the meat was served cold as I feel they had mass-cooked the chicken earlier in preparation for dining service times
  • Personally, the dish would be better having a stronger perilla taste to match the ones you find in Seoul
  • Dakgalbi set comes along with lettuce & doenjang for you to create your own lettuce wraps with the meat and also a bowl of seaweed soup to wash everything down after

Seafood Kalguksu (SGD 18)

Taste

Value

  • Handmade noodles were not overcooked and had a good bite
  • Generous variety of seafood consisting of clams, mussels, shrimp and squid
  • Soup is slightly peppery with taste of sweetness from the added seafood
