  • Fish was firm and fresh with no fishy or muddy taste
  • Could have a larger serving of fish as there were only 6 slices
  • 6month old fermented sauerkraut lends an appetising sourness to the soup
  • Soup was not spicy or overly numbing

  • Brinjal was well cooked without being overly mushy or hard
  • Generously topped with fried garlic and spring onions
  • Adding light soy sauce would have brought the dish together much better
